The ID. EVERY1 concept car1

Since the Beetle, Volkswagen has enabled affordable mobility for millions with compact and beloved designs. And now this ethos has hit the electric age. The entry-level ID. EVERY1 pairs classic Volkswagen design with an electric present, featuring a compact yet spacious design and an instantly recognisable silhouette.

Design-forward looks. Wallet-friendly price.

The Volkswagen design team has reimagined timeless design features for a new era. Effortlessly blending functionality and style, the ID. EVERY1 concept car is inspired by iconic elements like the distinctive C-Pillar from the original Golf

It’s a compact, all-electric vehicle with a sporty, yet comfortable feel.

Confident stability. The ID. EVERY1 is designed to feel solid and planted on the road. Thanks to its wide, flared wheel arches and 1,860mm width, it has a low, grounded feel. Add in the short overhangs, and you get a car that looks as steady as it rides.

Powerful performance. The concept car reaches a top speed of 130 km/h and is powered by a newly developed electric drive motor with 70 kW. The range is at least 250 kilometres.

Roomy interior. The ID. EVERY1 may fit into a tight park, but the interior is anything but small. It offers space for four people and a luggage compartment volume of 305 litres. Plus, plenty of headroom.

Fresh aesthetics. With an instantly recognisable silhouette, lounge-like seating and high-contrast colours, the model has a feel-good atmosphere that brings a smile to your face. The rear smiles, too. And the 19-inch alloy wheels have the potential to become a design icon.

A true Volkswagen for a new era

Smart, flexible and affordable, the ID. EVERY1 boasts a sporty design, versatile interior and digital features that feels familiar yet fresh. Approachable yet exciting.

“The ID. EVERY1 is the last piece of the puzzle on our journey to having the widest model selection in the [high] volume segment. We will then offer every customer the right car with the right drive system – including affordable entry-level all-electric mobility,” says Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen Passenger Cars.

The new Volkswagen design language also picks up on characteristic elements in the ID. EVERY1. Volkswagen Head of Design Andreas Mindt says, “our ambition was to create something bold yet accessible. The ID. EVERY1 has a self-assured appearance but remains likeable – thanks to details such as the dynamic front lights and the ‘smiling’ rear. These design elements make it more than just a car: they give it character and an identity that people can relate to.”

With this concept, Volkswagen is one step closer towards its “Future Volkswagen” vision – combining economic stability and leadership in the field of sustainable mobility.
